Max Verstappen could leave Red Bull at the end of the 2018 season in order to join rivals Ferrari in 2019 according to the Independent.
The Dutchman has suffered four retirements in his last six races while his teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, has scored four consecutive podiums including a victory in a chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Verstappen, who is the youngest ever winner of a Formula 1 race, is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrated with the continual mechanical issues that he’s had to endure so far this season and the Independent suggests that the Dutchman could be heading to Maranello within the next few years having asked to leave his current team.
